Talking Beavers?

“This was bad grammar of course, but that is how beavers talk when they are excited; I mean, in Narnia–in our world they usually don’t talk at all.” From The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis

The Chronicles of Narnia were one of my favorite books growing up, and still are. I have fond memories of my older brother Andrew reading them to me as a child. He would read out load to me before I went to bed (actually while I was in bed before I went to sleep). I would be cuddled up in a blanket enthralled by the story. “This is the last chapter for the night” he would say, but I’d alway convince him in reading more. I also loved listening to the Narnia Focus On he Family dramatization book on tape and CDs. From the point of the play button being pressed, I was ensnared. The stories are so captivating and I never get tired of reading them. Even just a couple years ago when my brother Daniel came back for some Holliday we pulled out the Horse and His Boy and took turns reading out load to each other.
